About the Author

Cee Thorketil is an artist and writer with a deep passion for the wild and its diverse species and habitats. She lives with her family on their regenerative farm and forest, Bard Owl Farm, where she creates art, writes stories, farms, and continues to learn about the native species around her. Through her children's books, she hopes to inspire a new generation of naturalists who will reap the wellness benefits of being in touch with nature and in turn, will also support its ongoing protection.

The Who Lives Here? series introduces young explorers to the wild neighbors living in the major biomes of North America—places many of us call home, too. With handcrafted illustrations and simple, rhyming text, the series teaches early animal tracking, habitat observation, and species identification—including animals, plants, and fungi.
